Workshop on Endogenous Institutions and Conflict
The Berkeley Political Economy group hosts a yearly two-day workshop on Endogenous Institutions and Conflict. This workshop brings together a group of scholars who share interests in politics and economics with an emphasis on the origin and role of institutions and the workings of weakly institutionalized societies. Papers are presented on a wide variety of topics, including war (civil and interstate), collective action, failed states and the workings of democracy. Papers from past workshops can be downloaded below.
